LAMDA ONLINE WITH JUDITH WOODFIELD

Hello, I am a Herefordshire based 1-2-1 Speech and Drama coach working online and in person. I trained as a LAMDA tutor at Pattison Academy, Coventry, then later graduating as a mature student from the accredited drama school, Birmingham School of Acting. I am committed to the LAMDA ethos of building strong communication skills and self-confidence through drama and literature.

LAMDA is “A world-leading drama school and examinations provider, training and inspiring exceptional artists for over 160 years” I am proud to be able to bring their rich and varied syllabuses to students in the UK and across the globe.

I welcome clients and students across the age range from 6-60+. Online working allows me to bring the LAMDA syllabi to international* students who wish to enjoy the benefits that one of the UK’s most valued and respected drama institutions can offer, including Speaking in Public, Speaking Verse and Prose, Acting and Shakespeare in Performance.

A little more about me, I am fortunate to live in Herefordshire, which I would say is one of the UK’s most well kept secrets. I spend many hours walking in the countryside with my live in personal trainer, an English Springer Spaniel, no chance of a morning lie in.

As an active member of the Courtyard Theatre Writers Group I am constantly working, I also enjoy stand up comedy (performing and observing) and line dancing.

I love to laugh and have had the privilege of studying “le jeu” under clown master Philippe Gaulier. I have also been an active member of a clown troupe performing in the streets of Northern France.

Whilst in France I began working with international students, native French speakers, each one achieved distinctions for their Speaking of Verse and Prose. Since my return to the UK my international students have increased from Europe to India and the UAE.

*LAMDA syllabi is only delivered in English therefore a reasonable knowledge of English language is necessary
